About this web site

Los Angeles, Paris, and  now Tokyo.

After spending almost five years in Los Angeles and one year in Paris, we are now back in Japan, living in the middle of Tokyo.

Our plan is to spend this school year in Japan, and maybe return to France afterward. Then again, we never really know what the future has in reserve for us.



We now visit and enjoy Japan as never before !

Whenever the weather is good enough, we go out and visit new spots in Japan. Have a look at our recents trips

Julien enjoys his new environment. His attends the Lycée Franco-Japonais de Tokyo which is located a mere 20 minutes away from home by train, or about 30 minutes by bicycle.

Akiko continues to learn French, cooks, plays the piano and enjoys her life. Patrick plays Go and tries to catch up on many things.

 
 

   Photography
We're trying to catch up on our photographic life. Lots of photos have been taken everywhere, but not yet taken care of.

Autumn Colors
In Japan, the colorful leaves (kouyou) are to autumn what cherry blossoms are to spring.
Looking at the autumn leaves has been a traditional popular activity among the Japanese for centuries.
 

Patrick, happy to be back in Japan. Traveling in Asia.
Akiko, taking advantage of the possibilities of a city like Tokyo.
Julien, adapting to a new lifestyle, and enjoying it.
 
 

Vietnam

This trip was almost cut short from the start because of a visa problem. Indeed, the visa Patrick needed  was not
issued as
expected at
the airport.  


 

After Hanoi and Halong Bay, we had a
great time traveling around the Lao Cai
and Sa Pa area near the Chinese border, surviving the Kai-Tak
typhoon in Hue, and
